How to become a Creator
Apply from your profile settings — approval is manual, usually quick.
Who this is for
You should apply if you host, DJ, promote, shoot content at events, or otherwise create nightlife — anyone whose work is visible on LocalPulse. Approved Creators can publish events, sell tickets, get tagged on lineups, broadcast to followers, and Go Live from check-ins.
Before you apply
Make sure your profile has: a display name, a real avatar, links to your Instagram / TikTok / SoundCloud (wherever your work lives). Applications with no proof of work are hard to approve.
How to apply
In the app, tap the hamburger on your profile → "Apply to be a Creator" (visible only to Vibers). Fill out: • Display name (what shows on your profile + on event lineups) • Role type — DJ / Photographer / Host / Promoter / Other • Social links + portfolio URLs (Instagram, TikTok, website, SoundCloud, anywhere) • Short bio On web, apply at /creators/apply.
What happens next
Your application lands in an admin queue. We usually review within a business day. On approval you get a notification: "Congrats! You are now a LocalPulse Creator." Your role updates automatically — the Create Event flow, Broadcast, and Go Live all unlock. If we decline, you'll see a note with the reason and can re-apply after tightening your profile.
Free vs. paid Creator
The free Creator tier includes all the core organizing tools (create events, broadcast, Go Live 5-min 3×/week, get tagged on lineups).
